Kunst - Unikate aus Privatbesitz - Björn Wiinblad. Farbige Original-Entwürfe, wohl für Rosenthal-Glas

Aus der Sammlung eines ehemaligen Mitarbeiters der Firma Rosenthal/Selb, der mit den Künstlern, die für die Firma arbeiteten, auch befreundet war und von ihnen Arbeiten erwarb oder geschenkt bekam. Vorhanden sind: I. Nußknacker Nr. 7. Farbige Gouache auf leichtem Karton. Vom Künstler eigenhändig monogrammiert. Undatiert (1980er Jahre ?). 36,5 x 28 cm. Von anderer Hand am unteren Rand in Blei zugesetzt “Fleischfarbe wie gehabt”. Wohl einer der Glasentwürfe des Künstlers für die gleichnamige Rosenthal-Serie. II. Dekorentwurf für eine “Viereck-Schale ca. 22 cm breit”. Farbige Gouache auf leichtem Karton. Vom Künstler eigenhändig signiert und datiert (19)93. 29 x 30,8 cm. - Wohl einer der Glasentwürfe des Künstlers für Rosenthal.

Seltenes Ravensburger Brettspiel 1893 - Reise nach Chicago. The Worlds (!) Columbian Exposition (Deckeltitel)

Brettspiel (auf der Karte mit dem Spielregeln bezeichnet “O.M.R. Nr. 42”). Ravensburg, Otto Maier, um 1893. Mit farbig lithographiertem faltbarem Spielplan (Weltkarte) aus starkem Karton (aufgefaltet 53 x 60 cm), 6 Spielfiguren aus Zinn, 1 Karte „Spielregeln“ (englisch, deutsch, französisch), 6 „Reisebillets“ (ca. 2,5 x 5 cm), 6 Karten mit Erläuterungen (ca. 14,5 x 9 cm), 20 Spielmünzen, 2 Papptellerchen für die Spielmünzen und 1 Würfel. Zusammen in O.-Deckelschachtel mit farbig lithographierter Deckelillustration (ca. 36 x 32 x 4 cm). - Seltenes, anlässlich der im Mai 1893 verspätet eröffneten Weltausstellung in Chicago herausgegebenes Brettsspiel. Der sehr schön gestaltete Spielplan zeigt eine Weltkarte mit 6 eingezeichneten Reisewegen nach Chicago. Die Ausstellung zum Gedenken an die „Entdeckung“ des Kolumbus (daher „Columbian“) wurde auch in Deutschland mit grossem publizistischen Aufwand begleitet, es erschienen extra Reiseführer nach Chicago (damals war eine solche Reise langwierig, umständlich und teuer), aktuelle Berichte von der Ausstellung selber und retrospektiv verfasste Reiseberichte. Das vorliegende Brettspiel wurde zwar nicht im Börsenblatt angezeigt, es finden sich aber in der zeitgenössischen Tagespublizistik, etwa in den MNN in den Wochen vor Weihnachten 1893, Inserate des bekannten Münchner Spielwarenhändlers Obletter für ein gleichnamiges Gesellschaftsspiel, bei dem es sich um das hier angebotene handeln dürfte. Selten und für uns nicht weiter nachweisbar.

Rare manuscript, early relic certificate Slovenia Graz 1620

Rare survival of an early seventeenth-century Authentica Reliquiarum, a type of document that was normally enclosed within a reliquary and often lost when reliquaries were opened, damaged or dispersed. Original signed relic authentication dated 1620, issued during the height of the Counter-Reformation, confirming the authenticity of a large group of saints' relics. Personally confirmed by Erasmus Paravicini (ca. 1562–1640), Papal Nuncio at the court of Emperor Ferdinand II and titular Archbishop (later Bishop) of Alexandria. Connected to the Franciscan convent at Pettau (today Ptuj, Slovenia), one of the oldest medieval monastic centres in present-day Slovenia. The handwritten text states that the relics have been investigated and were found authentic. In the text: Erasmus Paravicini, Ambrosii de Tabia (Ambrosius van Tabia), Graeci (=Graz) 18 juli 1620, Frey, 19 juli 1620, Joes Ant.
